Gavdos is the southernmost Greek and Europ island.  About 20 seamiles south of Chora Sfakion. With about 154 inhabitants its also the smallest municipality of Greece.  But not all people live all year through on the island. About 50 people live there permanently. Others move in the wintertimes to Crete. The harbour of Gavdos is Karave. The main village with the municipal is Kastri. All around the Island there are alot of beautiful beaches and bays.  On the southcoast of Gavdos is a big rock called Tripiti, the southernmost part of Europe with a big wooden chair as symbol.  

Gavdos is also a beautiful place to make several walkes and hikes....
